Market Stall Tarpaulins buying guide
Market stall tarpaulins need to go up fast, keep stock dry and look smart. Our market stall covers include striped and white roof sheets, a certified flame retardant option and clear PVC for sides and backs. Mix them to build a stall that suits your pitch.
Roof sheets
The striped 170gsm tarpaulin is the traditional choice, in red, blue or green on white, with eyelets every metre. For a plain roof, the 200gsm super white tarpaulin is heavier and has eyelets every 50cm.
Clear side sheets
Clear PVC keeps wind and rain off your stock while customers can still see it. Choose the 310gsm clear PVC tarpaulin or the 320gsm clear PVC tarpaulin as finished sheets with eyelets. To make your own panels, cut the 310gsm glass clear PVC roll, which is 1.1m x 25m.
Does your market ask for flame retardant covers?
Some markets and events do. The 200gsm flame retardant tarpaulin meets CPAI 84 Section 6 and has a certificate stitched to the sheet, so you can show it on request. Flame retardant does not mean fireproof.
Fixing a cover to the frame
Ball bungees are the quickest method. Thread one through each eyelet and loop it round the frame. See bungee and shock cord, hooks and toggles and tarp clips. Measure your frame with the size guide.
