10,000kg BF ratchet straps, also sold as 10 ton ratchet straps, are extra heavy duty tie-down straps for the largest loads on flatbeds, low loaders and heavy haulage trailers. With wide blue webbing, a heavy duty ratchet and double J hooks, they are built for plant, machinery and structural steel. Available in 6m, 10m and 12m.

How to Choose the Right Length

Measure the path the strap will take over the load, from one anchor point to the other, then add spare webbing for the ratchet to take up. The 6m suits compact heavy items, while 10m and 12m cover wider loads and larger machinery.

Safe Use

  • Never exceed the rated capacity shown on the strap label.
  • Make sure both hooks are seated fully on their anchor points before tensioning.
  • Check the webbing, stitching, hooks and ratchet before every use, and replace any strap that is cut, frayed, bent or damaged.
  • Use enough straps for the size and weight of the load, and protect the webbing from sharp edges with a wear sleeve or corner protector.
  • Heavy loads should be planned and secured by a competent person, and tension re-checked during the journey.
