Internal cargo straps are load restraint straps designed for use inside curtainsiders, box vans and trailers. Rated at 750kg BF, they come in three fitting types to suit different vehicle bodies: snap hook and rave hook, bobbin and rave hook, and snap hook and cargo hook. Available in 4.5m and 6.5m lengths.

Strap Types

  • Type 1 – Snap Hook & Rave Hook – a sprung snap hook at one end and a rave hook at the other, for vehicles with rave rails and fixed anchor points.
  • Type 2 – Bobbin & Rave Hook – a bobbin end fitting paired with a rave hook, for bodies with bobbin-compatible tracks or fittings.
  • Type 3 – Snap Hook & Cargo Hook – a snap hook paired with a cargo hook, for general anchor points inside vans and trailers.

How to Choose the Right Strap

Start with the fittings in your vehicle. Choose Type 1 or Type 2 if your body has rave rails, picking the other end fitting to match your anchor points, and Type 3 for general cargo hooks and anchor points. Then choose 4.5m for narrower loads and bodies, or 6.5m for wider loads and longer runs.

Safe Use

  • Never exceed the rated capacity shown on the strap label.
  • Make sure both end fittings are fully engaged on their anchor points before tensioning.
  • Check the webbing, stitching and fittings before every use, and replace any strap that is cut, frayed, bent or damaged.
  • Protect the webbing from sharp edges and re-check the load at each drop.
